Program Associate, Mind in the Making at The Bezos Family Foundation
Nicole Gardner is the Program Associate for Mind in the Making at the Bezos Family Foundation. She holds a Master’s of Science in Education from the Bank Street College of Education in Infant and Family Development and General and Special Education. Nicole has over ten years of experience working with children and families, as a child care provider, a preschool teacher, a caregiver, a teaching artist and a performer. She also holds a B.F.A. in Theater from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. She has presented at the National Association for the Education of Young Children Professional Development Institute and at the statewide conference for the California Association for the Education of Young Children and has co-authored a series of articles for Teaching Young Children, a publication of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. She is also a National Facilitator for Mind in the Making, facilitating professional development opportunities for educators and community partners around the country. Nicole currently resides in Los Angeles.
